Teacher & Staff Appreciation

Thank you for your interest in our Teacher & Staff Appreciation efforts!  We are currently anticipating four appreciation events for the 2020-2021 academic year.  If you would like to be involved with helping us make these events extra special for our teachers and staff, please email us at staff-support@kelloggptsa.org to learn what you can do! We look forward to hearing from you.

Out of an abundance of safety for our community we are not planning to do food events/potlucks at this time.

Appreciation Themes and Activities:

November: For the week of November 15th we will focus our attention on giving gratitude to our awesome teachers and staff!  We will do this by encouraging parents and students to send a special notes of appreciation. This will be communicated via facebook, peach jar, and PTSA email blast. For this week each Kellogg teacher and staff member will have a gift in their school mailbox delivered that week. Additionally, we are reaching out to area stores to request teacher discounts.

May: We will wrap the year up with the pinnacle of appreciation:  Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. Throughout the week there will be a variety of ways families and students can be involved in this wondrous week-long celebration!  Details to be announced as we get closer to May.
Show your appreciation throughout the year!

  • Encourage your child(ren) to send a thank you email or handwritten card to their teachers. Notes can be mailed to the teacher c/o Kellogg Middle School, 16045 25th Ave. N.E, Shoreline, WA 98155
  • Send your teachers an  e-gift card for coffee, Amazon, Netflix, Barnes and Nobles, etc..
  • Stock the teachers lounge – Drop off single serving non perishable pre-packaged  snacks (ie box of a small bags of chips, granola bars, kind bars,  popcorn), coffee, soda, etc…
  • Stock the teachers school supplies closet

 

 

ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN

The Kellogg PTSA fundraises for the year that follows, therefore 2021-2022. We are not able to have our normal fundraising in-person events so we need your help. Please support this AND next year's PTSA community programs, events and student enrichment by donating today. No contribution is too small! Let's work together to make our children's middle school years as great as it can be!
