What is Family Engagement?
PTSA works with families, schools and other organizations to help all children be successful throughout their school years at Kellogg. As an engaged family member—parent, grandparent or other caregiver—you make essential contributions to your children’s education to make their potential a reality. How will the Kellogg PTSA Family Engagement support you?
The Family Engagement team:
- Plans and organizes family engagement outreach, programs and activities for the school year
- Publicizes family engagement activities and events using newsletters, website, social media and backpack express

Family Survey
- Thank you to all the families who took our PTSA family survey at the beginning of the year. This helped us to form our priorities and goals. Support with remote learning (1st), general social connection for kids (2nd), and enrichment programs/speakers/mental health support (3rd) were the top three needs we heard from you. We continue to plan opportunities that support these needs throughout the year. Results are here.
If you need help with food, clothing or shelter please contact our school Family Advocate, Erin Maurer at 206-393-4189 or erin.maurer@shorelineschools.org
